The newly appointed OC (Officer-in-Charge) of Sirajdikhan Police Station in Munshiganj met with the leaders of the Upazila Jamaat-e-Islami and exchanged views today.
A delegation led by Sirajdikhan Upazila Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Maulana Md. Kabir Hossain went to the police station on Wednesday evening.
He paid a courtesy call and exchanged views with the newly appointed officer-in-charge of the police station, Mr. Shahed Alam Mamun. The newly appointed officer-in-charge was felicitated by the Upazila Jamaat-e-Islami.
Later, there was a discussion on maintaining peace and order at the police station.
The chief guest was Mr. Maulana AKM Fakhruddin Raji, Jamaat-nominated MP candidate from Munshiganj-1 constituency (Sirajdikhan-Srinagar Upazila), prominent educationist and social worker, public leader, Mr. Maulana AKM Fakhruddin Raji, special guest Mr. Md. Mujibur Rahman, Secretary of Munshiganj District Workers Welfare Federation, Mr. Md. Wasim Mia, Secretary of Upazila Jamaat-e-Islami, Mr. Md. Mahfuzur Rahman, Secretary of Human Resources Development, Mr. Md. Rajanagar Union President Mr. Eng. Md. Sohel Rana, Malkhanagar Union President Mr. Maulana Sheikh Md. Abdul Jalil and other leaders.
