A campaign procession was held after the discussion meeting organized by Sharsha Upazila Volunteers' Party and Benapole Municipal Volunteers' Party to make the district BNP rally at the Toul Hall ground in Jessore city on February 18. Former office secretary of the central BNP and former MP of Jessore-1 (Sharsha) constituency Mofiqul Hasan Tripti spoke as the chief guest at the discussion meeting held at the Sharsha Upazila BNP office on Monday, February 17 afternoon.
The main speaker was Rabiul Islam, president of the Jessore District Volunteer Party, presided over by Rakibul Hasan Ripon, president of the Sharsha Upazila Volunteer Party. The speakers included Sharsha Upazila BNP joint general secretaries Mostafa Kamal Mintu and Abdul Quddus Biswas, organizing secretary Ashraful Alam Babu, former secretary of the Benapole Municipality BNP Shahabuddin, joint convener of the district Jubo Dal and member secretary of the Sharsha Upazila Jubo Dal Imdadul Haque Imdad.
Sharsha Upazila Volunteer Party Acting Member Secretary Wasi Uddin moderated the event, while Benapole Municipal Branch Convener Abdus Shahid and Member Secretary Omar Faruk also spoke. Bagachra BNP President Asaduzzaman Mithu delivered the welcome speech.
After the discussion meeting, a campaign procession was taken out to Sharsha Upazila headquarters under the leadership of former BNP central office secretary and former Sharsha MP Mofiqul Hasan Tripti.#
