The banned student organization Bangladesh Chhatra League held a jhtika procession carrying the banner of former upazila chairman Sayeed Mehdi in the Pao Khali area of Kaliganj, Satkhira at midnight. This is the first time that Chhatra League has been seen holding a jhtika procession on the soil of Kaliganj.
On Monday (February 17), around 11:30 pm, 7 to 8 young men took out the procession in the Paukhali area. At that time, all of their faces were covered with towels.
According to eyewitness sources, after 11:15 pm, 6-7 youths gathered in front of the Paokhali area from the direction of Pania. Then they suddenly shouted slogans like Joy Bangla, Joy Bangabandhu - 'Who are we - Sheikh Hasina', 'Who are you - Sheikh Hasina', Sheikh Hasina is not afraid, we have not left the highway, 'The fight is going on, the fight will continue, Sheikh Hasina will fight', 'Sheikh Hasina's government, we need it again and again'. After that, they left the area within two minutes.
