National Awami Party (Bhasani) President Swapan Kumar Saha said that Bhasani gave a hint of independence at the historic Kagmari Conference. 54 towers were built at the historic Kagmari Conference on February 6, 7, and 8, 1957. The first tower was named after the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). The other towers were named after those who contributed to the democratic movement of the world.
He said the above on the occasion of the historic Kagmari Conference Day on Saturday, February 15. He also said that the oppressed people's leader Maulana Bhashani called this conference because of the discriminatory behavior of the then West Pakistanis. At this historic Kagmari Conference, Maulana Bhashani conveyed Assalamu Alaikum to Pakistan for the purpose of the Kagmari Conference. Maulana Bhashani's 21-point election manifesto for the 1954 United Front elections included caretaker rule as one of the demands. But a sad incident occurred in 1956 when Hossain Shaheed Suhrawardy went to a seminar and said that 98 percent caretaker rule had been established in East Pakistan. Maulana Bhashani said that prominent figures of the then Awami League were involved in a conspiracy with the West Pakistani rulers at the Kagmari Conference on that day. So Maulana Bhashani, he carried a hint from the Kagmari conference that Maulana Bhashani decided to leave the Awami League due to the conspiracy and intrigue of the West Pakistani friends within the Awami League. On July 26, 1957, the National Awami Party was formed at Rupmohan Cinema Hall under the presidency of Maulana Bhashani. So we, today's generation, that Maulana Bhashani carried a hint of independence at the historic Kagmari conference on February 6, 7, 8, 1957. From the freedom movement to the struggle for independence and the great liberation war in 1971. Maulana Bhashani is the moral responsibility of all political parties and intellectual civil society as a dreamer of independence. Maulana Bhashani never expected to come to power, he was above the greed of money. He always fought on the streets to achieve the rights of the masses.
