On February 21, a wreath-laying ceremony was held at the Central Shaheed Minar in Chittagong through a morning procession organized by the Panchlaish Thana Jasas in Chittagong.
Present at the morning procession and wreath-laying ceremony were Aminul Islam, the Chittagong divisional in-charge of the Central Committee of the JASAS, Chittagong Metropolitan Convener Lion M.A. Musa Bablu, Joint Conveners Jamil, Kalam, Jewel, Chittagong Metropolitan Member Secretary Mamunur Rashid Shipon, and Panchlaish Thana JASAS President G.M. Saidur Rahman Mintu, General Secretary Riaz Uddin Chowdhury Shahed, Senior Vice President Iqbal Hossain Rony, Vice President Alauddin, Qayyum, Joint General Secretary Sajeeb and leaders and workers of Panchlaish Thana JASAS at various levels. Later, prayers were offered for the forgiveness of the souls of the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the language in 1952.
