The most talked about movie in Dhaka cinema in recent times was the movie 'Tufan' starring the country's megastar Shakib Khan. Director Raihan Rafi has surprised everyone by pairing Shakib with one of the most popular actresses of West Bengal, Mimi Chakraborty. The director had hinted a few days ago that he would be returning to the screen with Shakib Khan.
As promised, so it is! Raihan Rafi is bringing 'Tandav' with Shakib this year. Like Toofan, this movie is also produced by SVF-Alpha Eye Entertainment Limited. Shakib Khan officially signed a contract with this production company last Thursday night.
It is learned that Shahriar Shakil, Managing Director of SVF Alpha I Entertainment Ltd. and producer of Toofan movie, signed the contract with superstar Shakib Khan. 'Tandav' director and producer Raihan Rafi was present at the time.
However, the company has not revealed who else will be in the film besides the megastar, or who will be seen opposite the superstar.
It is being heard that the 'Tandav' team is planning to start shooting in early March. It will be released during the upcoming Eid-ul-Azha.
