Md. Belayet Hossain, a former UP member of Nazirpur Sadar Union Parishad, father of Md. Shafiqul Islam Shafiq, a member of the Nazirpur Upazila Press Club in Pirojpur and a correspondent of Channel S, and the organizing secretary of Upazila Jassas, passed away at 7 pm on Wednesday, February 12, at Khulna Medical College Hospital.
(Innalillahi...Rajiun). He was 65 years old at the time of his death. He is survived by his wife, 2 sons and 2 daughters, and many admirers.
On Thursday, the deceased was buried in the family graveyard after the funeral prayers at the Eidgah ground in his native village of Kumar Khali. On his death, Pirojpur District BNP Convener Principal Alamgir Hossain, Nazirpur Upazila BNP Member Secretary Md.

Mujahidul Islam and all the journalists working in the upazila of print and electronic media have expressed their condolences. The leaders prayed for the eternal peace of the deceased and expressed their deep condolences to the bereaved family members.
