The funeral of freedom fighter Badal Gazi (84) with state honors was completed in Debhata, Satkhira. A smart team of Debhata Police Station gave him a guard of honor and then buried him in his family graveyard.
On Tuesday (February 10) morning, a guard of honor was provided at his residence in Sikendra village of Debhata upazila of Satkhira by Debhata Upazila Executive Officer Md. Asaduzzaman and a smart police team led by Debhata Police Station SI Lyon.
Earlier, on Sunday (February 9) evening, heroic freedom fighter Badal Gazi passed away due to complications.

Former freedom fighter commander of Debhata Upazila, freedom fighter principal Jamshed Alam, Parulia Union Chairman Golam Faruk Babu, Debhata Upazila Jamaat Ameer Maulana Oliul Islam, freedom fighters Shamsur Rahman, Amir Ali and Ruhul Kuddus were present at the funeral and guard of honor ceremony of freedom fighter Badal Gazi.
