Keeping in mind the theme of "Be as pure as dew, be free and immortal in the mist", this year too, the students of National Poet Kazi Nazrul Islam University have organized the "Kuasha Utsab 1431" for 2 days. The festival began at 8 am on Friday (February 7, 2015) at Nazrul Bedi with raga music.
A gathering and festive atmosphere prevails at Nazrul University centered on the Fog Festival.
The Kuasha Festival is not just an event, it has become an integral asset and a glorious tradition of the National Poet Kazi Nazrul Islam University. This festival is deeply connected to the emotions of every student. It is one of the main occasions for the reunion of the former and current students of the university.
Every year, the entire campus and the surrounding people celebrate the Fog Festival in a lively atmosphere. This festival is a symbol of unity and harmony not only for the students but also for the entire university family. The Fog Festival presents Nazrul University in a different perspective, which sets it apart from any other university. This is what the students of the university said.
This year's Kwasha Utsav has been decorated with new decorations, there are stalls of various kinds, and there is a Nagardola. Current and former students of the university, as well as culture-minded people, have participated spontaneously. The two-day festival has been organized in four phases in various ways.
Day 1 (February 7, 2025) The first part will include raga music, pitha-pulir asar, horror drama. The second part will include the lighting of the inaugural fire, Nazrul Shraddhajanji, film screening, folk dance, abhishek dance, and Ghatu song.
Day 2 (February 8, 2025) Part 1 will feature instrumental music and a pithapuli performance.
The second phase will feature poetry, tribal dance, campus singing group, film screening, performance of songs by Kanij Khandaker Mitu, Madal songs, and the closing ceremony will be declared.
It is worth noting that the programs have been organized at the campus's Nazrul Bedi, Churulia Mancha, Joydhwani Mancha, and Adivasi Zone.
