Two months ago, Pari Zaman went to Saudi Arabia. Twenty days ago, a Bangladeshi youth, Nur Alam Khan (36), was seriously injured in a road accident and was admitted to Riyadh Cantonment Hospital. He died while undergoing treatment. Nur Alam is the son of Umar Khan of Gobindapur village of Atghar union in Saltha upazila of Faridpur.
The family of the deceased confirmed the matter on Thursday (February 13) morning. The deceased, Nur Alam, is the father of a son and a daughter. His wife is also 6 months pregnant.
It is learned that Nur Alam Khan legally went to Saudi Arabia two months ago on a loan. On January 20, he was involved in a road accident in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Later, he was admitted to Riyadh Cantonment Hospital. Doctors amputated both his legs to save his life. He died on Tuesday (January 11) after being treated in the hospital for 20 days.
Jubo Dal leader Mahfuz Khan, a relative of the deceased, said, "My brothers, brother Nur Alam Khan, went abroad due to debt. He has no land except his ancestral house. His death has left his wife and children in a very sad state. Who will look after this family?" He said, efforts are being made to bring the body back to the country.
