An Islamic cultural competition has been organized for students, teachers, officers and employees at Patuakhali University of Science and Technology (PUST) on the occasion of the Holy Seerat-un-Nabi (PBUH).
The competition will be held on February 13 (Thursday) at the university's Agriculture Conference Room. This information was given in a press release signed by Professor Dr. Md. Iktiar Uddin, convener of the Siratunnabi (PBUH) Celebration Committee 2025.
The competition includes Quran recitation, hymns/prayer, azan, Islamic quizzes and speeches for students, and Quran recitation, hymns/prayer and speeches for teachers, officials and employees.
The topics of the lectures included the importance of Islamic education, the rule of veiling and the dignity of women, the importance of Zakat, prayer and character improvement, the unacceptability of terrorism in Islam, the Farewell Hajj sermon of the Holy Prophet (PBUH), Islam is a religion of peace, and the greatness of the Quran.
Those wishing to participate in the competition have been asked to register by February 12 (Wednesday).
