The National Hifzul Quran Competition and Prize Distribution Ceremony was held at the district level in Pirojpur. The National Hifzul Quran Competition, Prize Distribution and Certificate Distribution Ceremony was held at the Islamic Foundation Auditorium on Tuesday (February 11) at around 12 noon with the participation of Hafezi and Qawmi Madrasa students from various upazilas of the district.
The event was presided over by Md. Moniruzzaman, Deputy Director of the Islamic Foundation Pirojpur District Branch, and was addressed as the chief guest by Md. Sakhawat Hossain, Additional Deputy Commissioner and Additional District Magistrate.
After the selection phase, more than fifty students from various Hafizi and Qawmi Madrasas of the district participated in the main competition. A total of nine winners from three different groups were awarded prizes and certificates.
Hafez Maulana Saiful Islam, Honorable Secretary of Huffazul Quran Foundation Pirojpur Branch, spoke as a special guest at the event. In addition, Mirza Mohammad Mohsin, Field Officer of Islamic Foundation Pirojpur, and teachers from various madrasas also spoke.
In the speech of the chief guest, Additional Deputy Commissioner and Additional District Magistrate Md. Sakhawat Hossain gave various guiding and encouraging speeches to the students. He emphasized on increasing such events and making them more participatory in the future. Finally, the program ended with a special prayer wishing everyone's well-being.
