Paikgachha representative
The National Primary Education Medal (Sports, Cultural, Subject-Based Quiz and Cubing) competition was held in Paikgachha. The Upazila Primary Education Office organized the day-long competition at Paikgachha Government Boys High School grounds and Model Government Primary School on Monday.
Upazila Education Officer Bidyut Ranjan Saha presided over the inaugural ceremony of the competition, with Upazila Executive Officer Mahera Nazneen as the chief guest. URC Instructor Iman Uddin, Upazila Assistant Education Officer Sanchay Debnath, Sheikh Faruk Hossain, Debashish Das, Asaduzzaman, Jhongkar Dhali, Upazila Teachers Association President Rabindranath Roy, General Secretary Nuruzzaman, Assistant Teachers Association President SK Asadullah Mithu, General Secretary Rafiqul Islam, Head Teacher Miliziasmin, Selina Parveen, Khalilur Rahman, Joya Das were special guests.
The Vice President of the Press Club Md. Abdul Aziz, journalist Purna Chandra Mondal, teachers Alamgir Alam and SM Aminur Rahman Litu, students Tasnia Nur Roja and Hiron Sarkar spoke. The program was moderated by Headmaster Mahasin Azam, Sushanta Kumar Shil and teacher Tafroza Nur Chishti. Students from 167 primary schools participated in 54 events in the competition. In the afternoon, prizes and certificates were distributed among the winning students.
