BNP central leader and Pirojpur district BNP convener, Barisal divisional convener of Bangladesh Teachers' Workers' Unity Alliance, Principal Alamgir Hossain, said that party chairperson Khaleda Zia and acting chairman Tarique Rahman have assured that the jobs of private teachers in the country will be nationalized if BNP comes to power in the future.
Apart from this, Tarique Rahman is also thinking of creating a separate salary structure for teachers. Whenever BNP comes to power in the country, the quality of education improves and the country's teachers are good. He said this while speaking as the chief guest at the general meeting of the Upazila Teachers Employees Cooperative Credit Union Ltd. (KALB) in Nazirpur of the district on Saturday afternoon.
The general meeting held at the Upazila Stadium under the chairmanship of the organization's president Master Nihar Ranjan Majumder and the direction of General Secretary Master Subhrat Samaddar was addressed by Upazila BNP member Secretary Abu Hasan Khan, District Hindu Buddhist Christian Unity Council President Principal Dilip Majhi, Mrinal Kanti Sikder, among others.
