At approximately 12:30 am, a joint force team conducted a raid on the spot in the Chand Udyan area of Mohammadpur based on information that a robbery was being prepared.
During the operation, when the joint force members surrounded both sides of an alley, the terrorists opened fire on the operation team from the roof of a one-story building. The operation team immediately took countermeasures in self-defense and was able to arrest 5 terrorists along with their weapons.
Later, the house was searched and two bodies were recovered from the roof. A pistol, four rounds of bullets and a machete were recovered from the arrested persons. They have been handed over to Mohammadpur Police Station for legal action. Such operations will continue to protect the safety of people's lives and property.
