Sheikh Bashiruddin further said that TCB aims to deliver products to one crore marginalized people. 5.7 million beneficiaries will receive products through smart cards, those whose names are on the list but have not yet collected smart cards will also receive their products. He urged the district administrators to work to deliver smart cards to all beneficiaries by March 17.
He also warned that no one should hoard during Ramadan and that consumers should not shop for the entire month at once, as this could create a supply crisis and increase prices. He also urged the district administrators to take a tough stand against injustice.
