Attorney General Md. Asaduzzaman said the BDR killings were an international conspiracy to keep the Awami League in power. He made the remarks at a program at the FDC on Saturday morning.
At that time, the Attorney General said, "The BDR massacre was committed to hold the people of Bangladesh hostage, to take away their right to vote, and to destroy the country's sovereignty through anarchy."
Md. Asaduzzaman said, 'The BDR massacre would not have been possible without the covert inaction of former army chief General Moin U Ahmed. The masterminds of this massacre must be brought to justice.'
Criticizing India, the Attorney General said, "A friendly country established a reign of plunder in Bangladesh in the name of extending a hand of friendship. Now the neighboring country is standing against Bangladesh by harboring a murderer."
