A district rally of Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defense Force was held in Noakhali under the theme "We are everywhere for peace, order, development and security."
The rally was organized by Bangladesh Ansar Noakhali Camp at the District Shilpakala Academy auditorium on Tuesday (February 18) morning. Earlier, the rally was inaugurated by releasing balloons and pigeons.
The rally was moderated by Noakhali Sadar Upazila Trainer Muhammad Mamunur Rashid and Upazila Trainer Momena Begum, and chaired by Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defense Force Noakhali District Commandant Md. Sujan Mia, Director and Range Commander (Comilla) Mohammad Mahbubur Rahman PAMA PVMS spoke as the chief guest. Special guests spoke as the treasurer of Noakhali Science and Technology University Professor Dr. Muhammad Hanif Murad, Noakhali Army Camp Commander Lieutenant Colonel Rifat Anwar, District Civil Surgeon Dr. Masum Iftekhar, Additional Superintendent of Police Mohammad Ibrahim, among others.
The speakers highlighted the contributions and glorious memories of Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defense Forces in controlling the law and order situation in the country, public security, and during times of crisis and disaster, and what to do in the future.
At this time, bicycles and umbrellas were given as gifts to talented Ansar VDP members in recognition of their good work.
