The annual banquet and sports competition-2025 was organized by Al-Hera Islamic Academy in Bhurungamari, Kurigram. Various sports competitions including keerat, hamd-naat, and Islamic music were held in this day-long event at Bhurungamari Fazil Madrasa ground on Saturday (February 22).
The event was attended by students, guardians and well-wishers of the academy. At the end of the competition, the award distribution ceremony was attended by the principal of Bhurungamari Senior Fazil Madrasa, Mr. Altaf Hossain, as the chief guest.
Besides, Azizul Rahman Sarkar, lecturer of Bhurungamari Government College, Maulana Mahbubul Alam, lecturer of Bhurungamari Senior Fazil Madrasa and Khatib of Central Mosque, Taifur Islam Manik, assistant teacher of Jhukia Government Primary School, Md. Meshbahul Alam, guardian member, Md. Ariful Islam Shahin, assistant teacher of Sonatli Government Primary School, Md. Sharif Uddin, official of Islami Bank, and Saifur Rahman, assistant manager of Sonali Bank, among others, were present as special guests.
Organizers said that such events will be held regularly to enhance the mental and physical well-being of students.
