Former national cricket team cricketer Javed Omar Belim Golla and Singair's creative son, prominent businessman and young entrepreneur "The Plasticity" company's Managing Director Md. Mizanur Rahman, stood by the side of young students at a school in Singair, Manikganj, with cricket equipment.
On Tuesday (February 18) at around 10 am, Javed Omar and Mizanur Rahman handed over cricket equipment to the young students of Dhalla Morning Glory Model School in the upazila and Zenith Model School in Joymantop Union under the overall management of “The Plasticity” company. Earlier, on February 9, they distributed cricket equipment to the students of a school in Dhaka in the presence of Cricket Board President Faruk Ahmed at a prestigious hotel in Mirpur, the capital.
Javed Omar Belim, who intends to establish a cricket academy in Singair in the future, said, "A normal child also wants to play. But many times it doesn't happen. A little material is enough for their development. Now parents also make their children sit with mobile phones. If they get rid of mobile addiction and join sports, their intelligence will develop. With this small effort, I want to do various good deeds for social service."
Also speaking at the event were young entrepreneur Md. Mizanur Rahman, Managing Director of "The Plasticity" Company, Md. Faruk Ahmed, Director of Morning Glory Model School, and Md. Aminul Islam Khokon, Director of Zenith Kindergarten. The program was moderated by Singair correspondent of Dainik Desh Pantar and organizing secretary of Singair Press Club Md. Saiful Islam Tanvir.
