The annual sports competition and prize distribution ceremony of Rizia Rashid Government Primary School in Faridpur's Saltha Upazila was held.
This day-long sports competition was held on Sunday (February 23) at the school grounds.
The event was presided over by the founder of the school, prominent journalist and writer, and freedom fighter Abu Sayeed Khan. The event was attended by Tariqul Islam, acting principal of the Shaheed Smriti Maha Vidyalaya, cultural figure Anisur Rahman, headmaster of Rizia Rashid Government School, Ikramul Haque and many others.
While distributing the awards, journalist Abu Sayeed Khan said, "Today's children are the light of the future. We must spread light through reading and writing to maintain the honor of the flag earned with the blood of the people of this country."
