Kapilmuni Football XI defeated Moukhali Football XI 4-0 in the final of the Arafat Rahman Coco Memorial Football Tournament in Paikgachha. The final match of the tournament was held between Kapilmuni Football XI and Moukhali Football XI in the final organized by Laxmi Khola Bandhu Mahal at the Laxmi Khola Kagji Bari ground of the upazila on Friday afternoon.
Kapilmuni Football XI defeated Moukhali Football XI 4-0 in the game and became the champion. The chief guest at the opening and prize distribution ceremony of the tournament was Ziaur Rahman Foundation's Program Director, a prominent journalist leader from the area, Amirul Islam Kagoji. The opening guest was the newly appointed secretary of the area, Md. Touhidur Rahman. The special guest at the ceremony, chaired by Joy Kagoji, was Arafat Rahman Smriti Sangsad Dhaka South convener Mujibur Rahman Anu. Present were BNP leaders Asaduzzaman Khokon, Nazrul Islam, lecturer Abu Russell Kagoji, former councilor Imran Sardar, General Secretary of Nirapar Sarak Chai Ilias Hossain, journalists Abdul Aziz, SM Babul Akhter, Snehendu Bikash, Rabid Mahmud Chanchal, Mohammad Aminul Islam Bazlu, Asadul Islam, former bankers Abdul Karim, Shahin Gazi, Harun, Biplob and Abdur Razzak Sana.
