Students from Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP) and Bangladesh Maritime University held a protest march against US hegemony and in support of the oppressed Palestinians.
During the march, students chanted slogans such as "Down with America," "Stop Israel," and "Free Palestine" against the hegemonic and arrogant decisions of the United States.
The students participating in the protest march held on February 13 strongly condemned the history of American hegemony and the worst genocide in history committed by supporting Israel. They said that America has been establishing hegemony in various countries of the world for years and has committed genocide against Palestinians by supporting Israel. They said that the Muslim world must unite and stand against American hegemony.
"America is imposing wars on different countries of the world for its own interests," said BUP student Nusayb, adding, "They are using Israel to commit genocide against the Palestinians. We strongly condemn this."
Later, the protest march started from Mirpur No. 12 and circled various streets of the city. During this time, students expressed their hatred by trampling on American and Israeli flags.
