The sixth book by Zubayed Mostafa, a student of Gopalganj University of Science and Technology, is coming to this year's Ekushey Book Fair. Zubayed Mostafa is a student of the Department of Public Administration in the 2019-20 session.
The book of poetry to be published at the book fair is called "The Silence of the Clouds". It features realistic, life-oriented poems taken from life, written in prose and vowel rhythm. A person will find himself in the midst of the poems.
He showed his ability in the literary arena by publishing the book Agnishikha in 2020. Just when people were finding themselves lost in the severe shock of Corona, Zubayed Mustafa's second book Alo Andharer Sandhikshan was published in 2021 and received widespread praise. The book was published by Bisarga Prakashani.
In 2022, the author created his own world with the publication of his third book, "Dreams of Colorful Flowers."
When the fourth book, Cyclone's City of Peace, was published in 2023, it received a huge response from the readers. In 2024, the procession of light in the Man Corridor took him to new heights.
This multi-talented student won the Kolkata Metropolitan Literature Award for his poems 'Bangla Prakriti' and 'Bhorer Pakhi', and the 'Shomar Sur Literature Award' for his poem 'Tomar Simanay'. He also received the Vishwakavi Rabindranath Tagore Smriti Padak 22 from the Dak Bangla Sahitya Parishad,
He holds the Sukanta Bhattacharya Memorial Medal. He was also selected as the best writer of the year for the 2021-22 academic year by the Bangladesh Young Columnist Forum, Gobi Prabi branch, for his writing skills in national newspapers.
The book is organized into four parts, as is known about the silence of the cloud flower.
The blue leaves of love, the blue hour of sadness, the thunder of black clouds, the blue tone of the universe. The book contains a collection of realistic poems that are close to life. The poems of love are woven together in the name of the blue leaves of love, the longing for separation and loss find a place in the blue hour of sadness, the thunder of black clouds is built on the melody of betrayal along with the touch of reality, the description of the immense beauty of nature is revealed in the blue tone of the universe.
Regarding the publication of a new poetry book, young writer Zubayed Mustafa said,
“The Silence of Clouds and Flowers” is a new world of my poetry, where the soft touch of clouds and the gentle scent of flowers combine to create a language of immense silence. This silence is sometimes a deep introspection of love, sometimes of pride, sometimes of separation. Every word, every line is like a colorful painting of an unspoken feeling.
The dialogue of love, separation, dreams and nature is the main theme of this poem. Here, words spread like colors on the canvas of the heart, and merge silently into the ground like raindrops. “The Silence of Clouds and Flowers” is not just poetry, it is a journey of feelings, where the reader will find himself in the shadow of clouds, in the fragrance of flowers, and in the depth of silence.
If any line in this book sheds a little light deep within someone's heart, if any word gives voice to a silent feeling, then my dream as a poet has been fulfilled.
