The second day of the three-day 14th reunion organized by the Mirzapur Ex-Cadet Association (MECA), an organization of former cadets of Mirzapur Cadet College, was celebrated with grand celebrations today (21 February 2025).
Chief of Army Staff General Waqar-uz-Zaman, SBP, OSP, SGP, PSC, was present as the chief guest at the event. Upon his arrival at Mirzapur Cadet College, the chief guest was welcomed by GOC, 9 Infantry Division and Area Commander, Savar Area; the principal of the college; President 'Mirzapur Ex-Cadet Association' and invited guests.
The Army Chief then inaugurated the 'Mirzapur Ex-Cadet Association' reunion program and took the salute of the colorful reunion parade. Then the chief guest addressed the present and former cadets participating in the parade. In his speech, the chief guest mentioned the contribution of the cadets in the formation of the country and the nation, wished the cadets overall success and further prosperity and requested them to dedicate themselves to serving the country.
Former cadets of Mirzapur Cadet College, senior military officers of the local formation, local civil administration officials, the principal of Mirzapur Cadet College, teachers, and cadets were present at the event.
