The annual general meeting and committee handover-2025 of the voluntary blood donor organization 'Bandhan', Dhaka City Zone, has been held. The event was organized at the auditorium of Dhaka College on Saturday (March 1). The principal of Dhaka College and the main sponsor of Dhaka College Badhan Unit were present at the event as the chief guest.
The event was presided over by the President of Badhon Dhaka City Zone, Rabiul Islam, and was attended by the acting principal of Mohammadpur Central College, Professor Dr. H. M. Aliullah, Head of the Department of History and Culture of Islam, Dhaka College, Anwar Mahmud, Head of the Department of Economics, Dhaka College, Professor Parveen Sultana Haider, Head of the Department of Political Science, Kabi Nazrul Government College, Professor Dr. Nurun Nahar, General Secretary of Dhaka College Teachers' Council, A. K. M. Rafiqul Alam, Assistant Professor of Dhaka College, Obaidul Karim, and Assistant Professor of Government Shaheed Suhrawardy College, A. M. Mehedi Hasan. The event was moderated by Zubair Hossain.
Speaking as the chief guest at the event, Principal Professor AKM Elias said, "A positive aspect of the construction is that the responsibility is being taken and transferred systematically and regularly. Another negative aspect is the financial crisis. Their financial organization is very weak. However, when it comes to our attention, we try to cooperate as much as possible. I hope that in the future, we will all come forward to help them with this problem. I hope that we will all be involved in this service of humanity and extend our hands of cooperation."
Dhaka City Zone was divided into two parts and the Working Committee 2025 was announced. In this, Md. Mostafa Hasan Masud, a student of Kabi Nazrul Government College, was nominated as the president of the Dhaka South Zone and Khaled Bin Walid, a student of Dhaka College, was nominated as the general secretary. And Md. Shihab Sarar, a student of Government Titumir College, was nominated as the president of the Dhaka North Zone and Sayfin Ahmed Firoz, a student of Government Bangla College, was nominated as the general secretary. In addition, Md. Saiful Asrar, a student of Kabi Nazrul Government College, was nominated as the treasurer of the Dhaka South Zone and Md. Ali Doha was nominated as the executive member.
