A quiz competition was held at Patuakhali University of Science and Technology (PUST) on the occasion of the holy Shab-e-Barat under the initiative of Inqilab Mancha. The quiz competition was held at PUST's Bijoy-24 Hall at 9 pm on Thursday (February 13).
At the beginning of the quiz competition, moderated by Nurunnabi Sohan, speeches were delivered by Md. Redwan, Md. Jannatin Naeem Jiban and Imam of Bijoy-24 Hall, Maulana Abdullah Al Mamun. 106 students of Pobipro participated in the quiz competition.
The convener of the organizing committee, Md. Redwan, said, "Our organization is to preserve and spread Islamic culture. Those who know and those who don't know are never equal."
Md. Jannatin Naeem Jiban said, Allah Almighty has made the Quran easy, all of you should read the Quran, learn from the Quran and shape your lives according to the Quran. The importance of the Quran in advancing civilization is immense.
Imam of Bijoy-24 Hall, Maulana Abdullah Al Mamun, said, "Islamic practices and Islamic culture increase faith. Besides, such an arrangement against the invasion of subculture deserves praise." He encouraged everyone to participate in Islamic arrangements and achieve virtue.
