Shibir attacked ordinary students of MC College in Sylhet with the intention of cutting their throats, and Jagannath University's Chhatra Dal held a procession and protest rally to protest the attack on the VC of KUET.
The protest march and rally was joined by Mehedi Hasan Himel, convener of Chhatra Dal Jagannath University branch, member secretary Shamsul Arifin, and various joint conveners and member leaders and activists.
At approximately 11 pm, they held a protest march against secret politics and apolitical politics by chanting various slogans. After the march, they held a protest rally.
At the protest rally, Chhatra Dal convener Mehedi Hasan Himel said, "Today, this Chhatra Dal has made many sacrifices, including the 1/11 and July movements starting from 1990. We are silent for the purpose of building a fair and student-friendly campus under the instructions of Begum Zia and Tarek Zia. But if any organization tries to disrupt us and challenge us, then every leader and activist of Chhatra Dal is always ready to face that challenge. Therefore, stop them."
He called on all organizations to work together to build a fair and student-friendly campus.
Member Secretary Shamsul Arefin said, "The previous government used to create dummy candidates and conduct dummy elections. Now a group of students are posing as demonstrators. Stop playing dummy dummy. Don't tarnish the banners of ordinary students. Use the constitutional freedom to engage in politics. Don't engage in any secretive behavior. We do not support any secretive and unpolitical behavior. You have compromised your identity by attacking the VC of KUET."
