Sadarpur Police have arrested Joynal Howlader (45), the general secretary of the Union Awami League's Ward No. 9 in Wazuddin Howlader Kandi village of Dheukhali Union, and sent him to Faridpur Court during a devil hunt operation in Sadarpur Upazila of Faridpur.
It is learned that Joynal Hawladar was arrested by SI Raihan Ali Mollah of Chandrapara police outpost from Chandrapara Bazar on Saturday afternoon for engaging in anti-state activities.
In this regard, Sadarpur Police Station Officer-in-Charge Md. A. Motaleb Hossain said that Joynal Hawlader is involved in anti-state activities and multiple crimes including illegal land grabbing and rape.
