In a special operation by Thakurgaon District Police, 7 people were arrested from different police stations. The above-mentioned matter was informed by Thakurgaon District Police on Tuesday, February 11. Police said that a total of 7 people were arrested from different police stations of Thakurgaon district in the last 24 hours.
Among them, Thakurgaon Sadar Police Station and Thakurgaon Sadar Upazila police arrested Md. Raisul Islam (39), son of A. Sobhan of Bhatgaon village under Bhulli police station, Thakurgaon Sadar Upazila, Md. Abdul Gafur, son of deceased Korban Ali of Kochubari village under the same police station, Md. Uparul (47), son of deceased Abdur Rahim of Chilarong village, and Md. Sohel Rana (30), son of deceased Khorshed Ali of Gobindanagar area. On the other hand, Pirganj Police Station raids arrested Md. A. Samad (50), son of deceased Mohammad Hossain of Guagaon village, Md. Shahin (41), son of deceased Abdus Salam of Jagtha (Kulipara) village in Pirganj upazila, and Md. Osman Gani (45), son of deceased Tamiz Uddin of Dakshin Senihari village under Ruhia police station, Thakurgaon Sadar Upazila.
It is learnt that cases have been registered against the arrested persons in various police stations. The Thakurgaon District Police is always alert to suppress crime and maintain peace and order, said the Superintendent of Police.
