Balaganj Police have arrested an Awami League leader and a former leader of the banned student organization Chhatra League on the second day of Operation Devil Hunt in Balaganj, Sylhet.
They were arrested from their respective areas on Tuesday (February 11) evening. The arrested are Balaganj Upazila Awami League joint general secretary and former chairman Abdul Matin and former Chhatra League leader of the banned student organization Bibash Chakraborty Roni.
In this regard, Balaganj Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Farid Uddin Bhuiyan said that two of them have been arrested in Operation Devil Hunt.
