Chatkhil Police Station arrested the joint convener of Chatkhil Municipality Jubo League, the president of the ward Awami League, and the president of the ward Swechchhasebak League in a raid by Chatkhil Police Station.
Chatkhil Police Station Case No. 05, Tang- 09/02/2025 Eng, Section- 6(1) (a)/11/12 Anti-Terrorism Act, 2009 (Amendment 2013) accused 1. Ibrahim Khalil (48) deceased Abdul Karim, village: Dashani Tobga (Suya Gazi Bepari Bari) Chatkhil Municipality 2. Md. Jasim Uddin (44), father- deceased Abul Hashem, village: Bhimpur (Ain Uddin Patwari Bari), Chatkhil Municipality, 3. Md. Saiful Islam Jihad (24), father- Md. Hossain, village: Chhota Jibangar (Saiful Haque Master's Bari), Khilpara Union No. 9. The arrested accused are residents of Chatkhil Upazila of Noakhali District.
Chatkhil Police Station Officer-in-Charge Firoz Uddin confirmed the arrest and said that the arrested person has been sent to the learned court as per the rules. The operation is ongoing.
