Kapasia Police have arrested Md. Abibar Alamgir Badhan (28), former vice-president of Dhaka Uttara Police Station's Chhatra League, a banned organization, in Operation Devil Hunt. He was arrested from Raonat Bazar in Durgapur Union of the upazila at 3:30 pm on Wednesday (February 12). Md. Abibar Alamgir is the former vice-president of Dhaka Uttara Police Station's Chhatra League. He is the son of Sheikh Parvez Alamgir of Maum village under Bhanga Police Station.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of the police station Md. Kamal Hossain said that Abibar Alamgir Badhan has been arrested based on secret information. He will be handed over to the DMP police station on Thursday. The operation will continue.
