Three thieves have been arrested, including the recovery of a stolen "Suzuki Gixxer SF" motorcycle, in a raid by the Srimangal Police Station.
On Sunday (February 23), Srimangal Police Station OC Md. Aminul Islam said; 'On the late night of February 21, unidentified thieves broke the gate lock of Shailendra Kanti Das's house in Bhairabganj area of Srimangal and stole the motorcycle. The victim filed a case with the police station in this incident, after which an investigation was started under my supervision.
With the help of information technology, a special team of Srimangal Police Station led by Police Inspector (Investigation) Md. Mobarak Hossain Khan conducted a raid in Mirabazar area of Sylhet and arrested Md. Kamil Ahmed (35) and recovered the stolen motorcycle from him.
Later, based on the information provided by him, Salam Mia (23) from Shahibagh area of Srimangal and Md. Suman Ahmed (32) from Ashidron area were arrested. The arrested have been handed over to the court.
