A smart team of RAB-13, CPC-2, Nilphamari Camp has arrested a drug dealer named Zahidul Islam (47) with 149 bottles of Indian Phensidyl in Dimla, Nilphamari. On Sunday (February 16), an anti-drug drive was conducted at 11 am based on a secret tip-off and the drug dealer was arrested with 149 bottles of Phensidyl on an easy bike in front of the Dalia Water Development Board located in Khalisha Chapani Union of Dimla Upazila. The arrested drug dealer is the son of Abdul Karim of Purba Fakirpara village of Hatibandha upazila of Lalmonirhat district.
Confirming the matter, Dimla Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Fazle Elahi said that a case number 7, dated February 16, 2025, has been filed against the arrested drug dealer at Dimla Police Station under the Narcotics Control Act and sent to the court.
