Barisal Correspondent:
A man named Md. Suruj Gazi (35) was hacked to death in the Kaunia area of Barisal city over a dispute over a business transaction.
The incident took place at around 8 pm on Sunday, 2/3/2025, in the Kaunia housing area. The deceased youth's father's name is Kanchan Gazi. A person named Nayan Gazi was injured in the incident.
Barisal Kaunia Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Nazmul Nishat confirmed the incident and said that Suruj Gazi died after locals rescued the two injured people and shifted them to Barisal Sher-e-Bangla Medical College Hospital.
