Two arrested in separate raids in Narail in human trafficking case, including accused and marijuana. Ujjwal Roy, district representative from Narail, said that on Sunday (February 23) night, the Lohagara police of Narail district arrested accused Md. Asiqur Rahman Shanto, who was sentenced to ten years in prison and fined twenty thousand taka in a human trafficking case.

The arrested accused is Md. Asiqur Rahman Shanto, son of Md. Abu Taleb Sheikh of Lutia village under Lohagara police station in Narail district. Based on a secret information, SI (retd) Abdur Shukur, SI (retd) Amiruzzaman and ASI (retd) Mustakim, along with a joint force, under the supervision of Lohagara police station officer-in-charge Md. On the other hand, Narail DB arrested a person with 700 grams of marijuana. Narail District Detective Branch has arrested a person named Lal Chan (36) involved in drug trafficking. The arrested Lal Chan (36) is the son of Mofizur Molya of Dhalgram under Bagharpara police station in Jessore district. Titu Ali and SI (Retd) Sheikh Kamruzzaman along with the accompanying force conducted a drive and arrested Lal Chan (36).
