Ripon Marma Rangamati:
It is not enough to just dream, to realize the dream, one has to develop oneself as an educated person through self-education. Along with education, one has to bring up one's mother tongue, social customs and culture. If one cannot present them in front of the country, those cultures will lag behind in the hilly areas in the future. Therefore, he called for bringing up one's own language and culture in the future.
Uttamalangkar Mahath, former organizer of Bangladesh Marma Student Council Kaptai Upazila branch, said all these things in his chief guest speech at the biennial conference organized by Kaptai Upazila and Karnaphuli Government College branches at the Kaptai Baruichhari Marma Student Council (BMSC) hostel auditorium in Rangamati on Friday (February 14) morning.
