Md. Motaleb Khan, the president of the managing committee of Tekerhat High School in Shibchar, Madaripur, and Md. Golam Kabir, the headmaster of the school, as an agent of the autocratic Awami League president of Baheratla North Union, Md. Golam Mawla, said that during the previous autocratic government, irregularities, corruption and the education system had brought it to the brink of destruction, so the students and guardians of the school formed a human chain and protest march demanding the resignation of Tekerhat High School headmaster Golam Kabir.
The quality of education at the school is deteriorating. Therefore, students and guardians have organized a human chain and protest march demanding the removal of the headmaster and the dismissal of the managing committee members.
The human chain and protest march was held in front of Shibchar Press Club on Sunday (February 16) at 11 am. The only demand of the students in the protest march was the resignation of the managing committee of Tekerhat High School along with the principal.
The protesters demanded the dissolution of the instant messaging committee and the resignation of the headmaster.
