The 20th Annual General Meeting of the Upazila Teachers and Employees Cooperative Credit Union Limited was held in Jhenaigati, Sherpur, with the theme "Building a World through Cooperative Finance".
The meeting was held on the grounds of the local Haji Achi Amrunnesa Girls' High School on Saturday (February 15) afternoon.
The event was chaired by the association's president, Mohammad Masud Hasan, and moderated by secretary Abhinur Islam. Upazila Executive Officer (UNO) Mohammad Ashraful Alam Russell was the chief guest.
The special guests were Alhaj Shahjahan Akand, acting convener of the Upazila BNP, Joint Convener Mohammad Abdul Mannan, Upazila Cooperative Officer Rukunuzzaman, Chairman of Adarsh Cooperative Credit Union Limited Saleh Ahmed, Upazila Youth Party convener Masum Billah, prominent lawyer Mohammad Al Amin and others.
At the said annual general meeting, the income and expenditure reports for the 23rd and 24th fiscal years were presented and approved, and the potential income and expenditure budget for the 25th and 26th fiscal years was presented and approved.
All the board officers, employees, members of the association, and dignitaries were present at the annual general meeting.
At the end of the discussion meeting, prizes were awarded to 20 members through a lottery among the members present.
