A teenage domestic worker named Shyama Rani Sarkar (14) has gone missing from the Dorjipara area of Raynagar in Sylhet city. The missing teenager Shyama is the daughter of Samabhu Sarkar and Sumi Rani Biswas, a couple from Dharmadehi Gudambazar area of Barolekha upazila in Moulvibazar.
It is learned that she had been working as a domestic worker at the residence of artist Dutta Senapati in the city's Dorjipara (Sourav-19/2) area of Raynagar since 2020. The girl's mother has filed a general diary (GD) with the Kotwali Model Police Station in this incident.
Sumi Rani Biswas, mother of missing teenager Shyama Rani, said, "On Thursday, around 8:30 am, Shilpi Dutta Senapati left his daughter at home and went to the second floor of the same house. After some time, my daughter was not found at home. Despite searching in all possible places, she could not be found anywhere."
Sumi Rani Biswas said, "I have filed a missing person's general diary application with the Kotwali police station in this incident. I want to find my daughter quickly."
SI Rinki, duty officer of Kotwali Model Police Station, said that the girl's mother has filed a missing general diary. The police are working on the incident.
